Mental Health support should be an ongoing focus of every workplace. The benefits of this supportive approach can be seen at an individual, organisational and financial level. Serious Mental Health issues cost Australian Businesses $10.9 billion every year in absenteeism, reduced productivity, and compensation claims.

 

 

Australian statistics indicate that one in five people have a diagnosed mental illness. An even greater number of people live day to day with the challenges of a variety of Mental Health issues.  Completing a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is invaluable.

Course Options:

  • Mental Health First Aid Training

  • Blended Workplace Mental Health First Aid Training

  • Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person

  • Suicidal support conversation training

  • Workplace Wellbeing
     All Workplace Mental Health Awareness and Support workshops can be tailored to suit individual workplaces.   A consultation conversation is required to decide the time allocated to the training session and the topics of interest. The sessions can be conducted in small workshop or large presentation style.
    • A  1 to 2 hour workshop can cover some or all of the topics listed below.
    >  Self Care Plan – information is given regarding the importance of self care and building an individual Self Care plan for all employees.
    >  Support – the important aspects of a supportive workplace conversation in the area of mental health awareness. 
    >  Psychological Safety – exploring the key elements of safety and recognising research based work factors that impact mental health challenges.
    >  A Mentally Healthy Workplace – what is a mentally healthy workplace and how to create one!
