Mental Health support should be an ongoing focus of every workplace. The benefits of this supportive approach can be seen at an individual, organisational and financial level. Serious Mental Health issues cost Australian Businesses $10.9 billion every year in absenteeism, reduced productivity, and compensation claims.
Australian statistics indicate that one in five people have a diagnosed mental illness. An even greater number of people live day to day with the challenges of a variety of Mental Health issues. Completing a Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is invaluable.
All Workplace Mental Health Awareness and Support workshops can be tailored to suit individual workplaces. A consultation conversation is required to decide the time allocated to the training session and the topics of interest. The sessions can be conducted in small workshop or large presentation style.
